• Displacement: 392CI
• Crankshaft: Scat 4340 forged internally balanced
• Rods: Scat 4340 forged H beam 6.125” with ARP 2000 bolts
• Pistons: Forged -2cc flat top
• Compression Ratios: 81cc = 9.8:1 / 85cc = 9.4:1 / 89cc = 9.1:1 (can vary due to deck height/gasket thickness)
• Rings: Plasmamoly with steel top ring gapped for boost/nitrous
• Camshaft Bearings: Dura-Bond, installed and clocked to OEM position
• Oil Galley Plugs: Installed and sealed

Recommended Components:
• Balancer: Internal balance
• Flexplate/Flywheel: Internal balance
• Head Gasket: .028” or per application

Engine Info:
• Oil: 5W/20 Non synthetic for first 3000 miles
• Oil Filter: Wix or K&N per application

 

Notes: ATK’s Boost/Nitrous short blocks are meant for engines running these setups. Bearing clearances and ring gap have been taken into consideration for this series of short blocks.
