This engine is ATK’s reman version of the Mercruiser 377CI MPFI engine with a 4.030″ bore (383ci). It has the upgraded 4340 Forged Crankshaft and Forged Pistons along with the Mercruiser camshaft installed. It is to be used with the Mercruiser MPFI system, aftermarket EFI or a carburetor conversion. This engine will make 405HP @ the crankshaft and 380HP @ the prop which is how Mercruiser rated their power ratings.

• Bore/Stroke: 4.040 x 3.750
• Displacement: 383 (Reman Mercruiser 377)
• Crankshaft: Scat 4340 forged external balance rear of crank/internal balance front of the crank
• Rods: Scat 4340 forged I beam with ARP 8740 bolts
• Pistons: Forged 9.1:1` compression
• Rings: Moly
• Camshaft: Hyd. roller
• Cam Specs: 215/220 @50 .457in/.474ex 112LSA
• Timing Chain: Single Roller
• Cylinder Heads: Dart vortec cast iron 67cc/165cc 2.02/1.60
• Rocker Arms: Stamped steel 1.5 rockers
• Oil Pan: Rear sump 5qt
• Oil Pump: Melling
• Flexplate/Flywheel: Pioneer #FRA-159 external balance 168 tooth (with Scat kit)
